I have known Luis Seguesa's fight for the healing of the planet for many years. I have attended his conferences, which are highly instructive and educational about the place we live in.
I can attest that, thanks to his talks and conferences, I have changed my way of thinking and humbly try to follow what I have learned from him so that we humans can live better lives.

I can testify to the professionalism, honesty, ethics and passion that mark the work of Seguessa, a concerned human being dedicated to caring for and balancing our habitat and its essential resources.

I have known Luis Seguessa for several years. His work has been invaluable, his thesis being a milestone in the defense of our habitat. As editor of the newspaper La República, I have used your information and comments on dozens of opportunities. I believe that Ecology has to its credit the qualified dedication of the researcher Luis Seguessa, an essential man in the task of finding the Aristotelian synthesis between man and nature.

I absolutely agree with the theories of Luis Seguessa. His book "Global Alert" speaks of a change in consciousness, out of respect for animal life, nature, water, trees, urging us to let rivers flow naturally without altering their course, to not forcibly modify plantations and change the ecosystem. As a young father, my mission is to sow that seed in the little ones and in the people, either through my music or my words. In this sense, "Global Alert" is an appeal to conscience, and reading it is essential to better understand our role in transforming this planet into a better place every day for everyone.

I discovered Luis Seguessa several years ago when I began to delve into environmental problems in Latin America for a series of documentaries that I had to produce. I participated in his conference in January 2008 at the Grand Hyatt in Sao Paulo and I immediately became interested in the importance and originality of his theses and studies, especially his knowledge about oxygen and air quality. Today I can say that he is a person who speaks consistently on this subject and always has. In the USA, Al Gore was talking about an “Uncomfortable Truth”, while here in Latin America, Luis Seguessa was already talking about the serious problem that was the great consumption of oxygen due to the lack of investment in the world of alternative sources and clean energy matrices for the production especially of non-combustion engines.

I met Luis more than 10 years ago while conducting a journalistic interview for the TV program Twister. I was so fascinated by his knowledge that we ended up recording over 100 shows together. From the first moment, I was interested in the data that it handled and the importance of what it was transmitting. At that time climate change was not as noticeable as it is now, and people rarely spoke about it. Each of the hypotheses raised were incredibly corroborated years later.

Researcher Luis Seguessa is a true reference in climate change, being an authorized voice in the media to evaluate and issue comments regarding the causes and solutions of global warming problems, the hole in the ozone layer, along with many other issues, having been interviewed and quoted many times. I have had the opportunity to work with him in the non-profit organization, and I have observed the great seriousness, responsibility and effort with which the Seguessa researcher dedicates himself to his role as President of the organization. He is always working with dedication, and is aware of the urgency with which these issues that affect all of humanity must be treated. Undoubtedly, the work he has done has been key in the installation of certain issues in the public debate.

It has been 8 years since our radio broadcast the successful Luis Seguessa program for a better world. We had the honor of bringing Luis Seguessa to the city of Santos in Brazil a few years ago to give a conference at Universitas for young people. The conference was very successful and had an impact in our community. Already at that time, Luis Seguessa brought very interesting, advanced research on the reality of our planet and solutions and concrete actions that we must all carry out to improve our habitat.

In a context like the current one, voices are needed to call attention to the problem of climate change, proposing solutions to these problems. Thus, Luis Seguessa, President of Fundación Códigos, has been a voice committed to the planet for many years. In May 2011, I participated in his conference in Lima and from that moment I joined this cause, as I believe it is so important for all of humanity.
